Every Believer a Disciple. This means that we are a disciple making church. To go into the world and make disciples. To lead people to a place in their life where Jesus is not only their Savior but also Lord.


At Victory, we are dedicated to developing a community of disciples that are eager to grow, live on mission, and desire to worship.

Worship

A disciple lives a life of worship. In our modern culture, we confuse worship with music. Yes, worship can be music but "worship" encompasses many aspects of life. In Romans 12:2, Paul wrote to "Give" your bodies to God and to let them be a living and holy sacrifice, this is truly the way to worship Him. Our life as a disciple is a life of always honoring the Lord.


Mission

A disciple lives on mission and purpose. When people think of mission, normally foreign mission trips come to mind, but this concept to live on mission goes well beyond mission trips. Everyday we have a mission from the Lord, which is to spread the Good News no matter where we are or what career we have.


Growth

A disciple is very diligent in their own spiritual growth. We are created as a 3-part being: Body, Soul, and Spirit. We believe that growing in each of these areas is essential for maintaining a healthy relationship with the Lord.


Community

A disciple understands that we are not meant to walk out our spiritual journey alone. We are meant to live in Community with one another. When we say community, we do not mean just a "see you once a week" community, but an intentional sharing our lives with each other.

Our Beliefs

  • One God

    We believe that there is one God, infinitely perfect and eternally existent in the persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.


  • Jesus

    We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His victorious atoning death through his shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

  • Holy Spirit

    We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life.


  • Spiritual Gifts

    We believe that the Holy Spirit provides one or more spiritual gifts to all believers, manifesting them as He wills, and that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are operative today.

  • The Bible

    We believe the Bible to be the Holy Spirit inspired, authoritative Word of God and that it is eternally reliable.


  • Salvation

    We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

  • The Church

    We believe in one universal Church, which is the Body of Christ. We believe that Christ is the head of the Church, and that all that are born again are its members.


  • Resurrection

    We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: those that are saved to the resurrection of life and those that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.


  • Purpose of Church

    We believe the purpose of the Church is to offer worship to God, fellowship, ministry and instruction to itself, and evangelism and service to the world.


  • Personal Ministries

    We believe in the five-fold ministry of Ephesians 4, and that apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers are active today.

  • Unity

    We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.


  • Marriage

    We believe that a Godly marriage is strictly between one man and one woman.
